Teens will have the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities this summer through two specialized camps focusing on mountain biking and paddling.

The Mountain Biking Camp combines traditional summer camp experiences with an emphasis on mountain biking. Participants will spend significant time riding various trails and greenways, interspersed with traditional camp games and activities. The camp is scheduled from Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, running daily from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost for residents is $200, while non-residents will be charged $215. It is open to teenagers aged 13-15 years.

Paddling Week offers campers a chance to delve into kayaking with a focus on techniques and water safety. Daily water activities are planned alongside opportunities to explore Forest Ridge Park through various camp games and activities when not on the water. This camp will take place from Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2, also from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the same cost as the Mountain Biking Camp.

Registration for both camps can be completed via RecLink.
