Start your winter holidays with a two-day, one-night trip to Asheville, NC from Monday, Nov. 18 to Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Experience the magic of the winter holidays with a visit to the Biltmore Estates, America’s Largest Home®. Spanning 175,000 square feet, this grand 250-room French Renaissance chateau boasts 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces, offering over four acres of floor space to explore. Tour the home at night when it is adorned with thousands of ornaments, candlelight, twinkle lights, and carolers. The ambiance will surely get you into the holiday spirit.

Day 1 - Depart from Anne Gordon Active Adult Center at 8:30 a.m. Check into your room at the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. For dinner, you can opt for an early group meal (on your own) or explore local restaurants for a dining experience of your choice. Tonight enjoy a self-guided auto tour of the Biltmore Candlelight Tour.

Day 2 – Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading back to the Biltmore Estates. Enjoy some leisure time at the Biltmore Gardens, conservatory, and shops. Next, head to Antler Hill Barn and Farmyard for craft demonstrations, blacksmithing, a winery with complimentary tasting, shops, and lunch on your own. Return to Raleigh around 7 p.m., arriving back at Anne Gordon Center.
