A new program titled "Poké Pals Trading and Training" is offering a safe environment for children to trade their Pokémon cards and learn how to play the game. The initiative provides dedicated time for card trading among young enthusiasts, followed by sessions with trainers who will teach participants the rules and strategies of the game.

The program runs on Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates: September 6, September 20, October 4, October 18, November 1, November 15, December 6, and December 20. It is open to children aged six to twelve years old, with a participation fee of $10.

"We are not a sanctioned Pokémon League," organizers noted in their announcement. The emphasis is on providing an enjoyable and educational experience rather than official league play.
