Registration is now open for the first Engage Raleigh Community and Neighborhood Expo, scheduled for September 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event aims to connect residents, neighborhoods, community groups, and local government under one roof.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover the importance of community engagement, learn how they can make a difference, explore ways to participate in local decision-making, connect with local organizations, access resources, and meet City staff to learn about various departments and services.
The event includes a special celebration of the 20th annual Neighborhood Exchange. While registration is required only for the keynote program and lunch, the expo will be open to the public from 1-3 p.m.
