The Big Branch Greenway Connector will extend from the Crabtree Creek Trail, near Wake Forest Road, to Sandy Forks Road. The Greenway will be approximately 3.5 miles long, primarily adjacent to Big Branch, and is proposed to connect to both Eastgate and Cedar Hills Parks.

Residents are invited to help plan this new addition to the Capital Area Greenway System through several upcoming events:

- **National Night Out**: Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at North Hills Midtown Park, located at 4011 Cardinal at North Hills Street, Raleigh, NC 27609.

- **Open House**: Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Five Points Center for Active Adults, located at 2000 Noble Road, Raleigh, NC 27608.

- **Virtual Open House**: Thursday, Aug. 15, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Additionally, an online survey will be open through the end of August for those who wish to provide input on the project.

For more information about the Big Branch Greenway Connector Project and how to participate in these events or complete the survey, please visit their official website.
