A cultural exhibit titled "Centuries in the Making: A Cultural Legacy of South Park and East Raleigh Neighborhoods" is now open in Historic South Park. Organized in partnership with the South Park East Raleigh Neighborhood Association, the exhibition highlights the significant contributions African Americans have made to the city.

The exhibit features various topics, including Raleigh’s Black Main Street, which details the history of East Hargett Street as a hub for black-owned businesses. Also showcased are the histories of Raleigh’s historic Black schools, churches, and cemeteries.

The exhibit is free and open to all ages. It operates from Tuesday to Saturday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
