Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources will host a photo scanning event at the Annual Method Days Reunion on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. in the Pioneers Building. This initiative supports the 2022 Parks Bond project at Method Community Park.
Residents are encouraged to bring 1-5 photographs, drawings, or documents related to the Method Neighborhood, Berry O’Kelly School, and Method Community Park for scanning. Items should be flat and no larger than a sheet of notebook paper.
All photos will be scanned on-site and returned within 10 minutes. The scanned items may be included in public art projects and the history room at Method Community Park.
The event is free and open to all ages.
