Homeschoolers are invited to Mordecai Historic Park for a day of educational activities on Friday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event aims to provide insights into the harvest period during the 1800s and various autumn tasks.

Participants will have the opportunity to tour the Mordecai house, engage in crafts and games, and enjoy a trolley ride around downtown Raleigh.

The event is open to children aged five and up. Admission to Homeschool History Day is free, with additional costs for specific activities: $5 for trolley tickets and $2 for a butter-making experience.
