The opening of the new Crabtree Creek West Greenway trail section will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 10, at 10 a.m. This two-mile stretch, between Lindsay Drive and the eastern edge of Umstead State Park on Ebenezer Church Road, forms a key part of the regional greenway network.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their bikes or walk the trail to enjoy its natural beauty. A limited number of bikes will be available on-site for those who do not have one.

Event details include an RSVP requirement by September 4 to RSVP@raleighnc.gov or by calling 919-996-3285.

Parking is recommended at Laurel Hills Community Center, located at 3808 Edwards Mill Road. Shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon for easy transport. On-site parking is reserved for those with a valid disability placard only at the trailhead lot (4924 Ebenezer Church Road).
