The City of Raleigh is preparing to unveil its new community engagement vehicle and is seeking public input on the artistic design. Four local artists, Raman Bhardwaj, Sarahlaine Calva, Max Dowdle, and Sloane Siobhan, have submitted designs for consideration.

Residents are invited to vote for their favorite design by September 17. The initiative aims to foster a sense of ownership and pride among community members when they see the vehicle in use around town. The city hopes that the chosen design will reflect Raleigh's cultural roots and diversity.

City staff will utilize this vehicle to travel throughout Raleigh, providing resources and opportunities directly to residents. It is considered a crucial tool for education and outreach efforts, especially in neighborhoods that have historically been underrepresented in decision-making processes.
