The Carolina Hurricanes are currently on their longest road trip of the season, playing six consecutive games away from Lenovo Center due to the North Carolina State Fair. The trip began on October 17 and will conclude on October 29.

This year's itinerary started in the eastern United States and moved westward, covering a total of at least 5,576 air miles over 13 days. The team's journey includes stops in Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Edmonton, Calgary, Seattle, and Vancouver before returning to Raleigh.

Frederik Andersen and Shayne Gostisbehere have been notable performers during the first three games of this trek. In Pittsburgh, Andersen has maintained a .937 save percentage against the Penguins since the 2016-17 season. Jaccob Slavin has also been effective in St. Louis with five points in four games at Enterprise Center since his All-Star appearance in 2020.

Andrei Svechnikov has achieved success against Edmonton with two hat tricks during the 2022-23 season. Sebastian Aho has scored three goals in his last three games at Calgary's Saddledome. Seth Jarvis continues to perform well in Seattle, having scored three goals and earned four points in three visits there.

However, Vancouver's Rogers Arena remains challenging for Carolina with a historical record of 4-12-4.

Once back home, the Hurricanes will host four games over eight days at Lenovo Center starting on October 31 against Boston.
