The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the New Jersey Devils in Newark, N.J., with Pyotr Kochetkov expected to start as goaltender. Kochetkov is aiming for his 15th win of the season after a recent victory against the Rangers where he recorded 22 saves and became the first NHL goalie this season to achieve multiple points.

Sebastian Aho is entering the game on a streak, having scored points in five consecutive games. He will likely be joined by Jack Roslovic, who has been productive in recent matches with points in two straight contests.

The projected lineup for tonight's game includes forwards Jarvis, Aho, Roslovic; Svechnikov, Kotkaniemi, Necas; Martinook, Staal, Carrier; and Robinson, Jost, Blake. The defense lineup features Slavin and Burns; Orlov and Chatfield; Gostisbehere and Walker. Kochetkov will be supported by backup goaltender Tokarski.

Injury updates include Jack Drury out with a hand injury since December 12th for at least four weeks, Frederik Andersen sidelined due to a knee injury from November 22nd for eight to twelve weeks, and Jesper Fast out for the entire 2024-25 season due to a neck injury.

The betting odds provided by Fanatics Sportsbook have the Canes at +105.
