After a brief pause due to snowy and icy conditions, the City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services is set to resume trash and recycling collections. The weather had caused a temporary suspension of services.

Collection routes will experience a one-day delay. Wednesday pickups are scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 23. Residents with regular Thursday and Friday pickups will have their carts serviced on Friday and Saturday, respectively. This schedule change is updated on the Raleigh Reuse web tool and app. Residents are advised to keep their carts at the curb until they are serviced.

Normal collection schedules are expected to resume in the last week of January, contingent on weather conditions. The Yard Waste Center, which was closed on January 22, has reopened and is operating under its usual hours.
