Raleigh has introduced a new tool to enhance public awareness of its affordable housing initiatives. The Affordable Housing Dashboard is now accessible, allowing residents to monitor the city's progress in real-time.

The city established an ambitious target in 2016: constructing 5,700 affordable homes by 2026, averaging 570 homes annually. To date, Raleigh has successfully created and preserved 3,848 affordable homes. This achievement marks more than halfway towards the goal, with additional units already planned.

The dashboard aims to provide transparency and insight into Raleigh's efforts to expand affordable housing options. It enables residents to explore key data and track milestones related to housing development.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Affordable Housing Dashboard for updates on Raleigh's commitment to addressing affordable housing challenges.
