The City of Raleigh is reaching out to residents for input on the Dandridge Drive Neighborhood Bikeway Project. Community members are encouraged to attend an event designed to discuss this and other local initiatives. The gathering will take place at the Biltmore Hills Community Center, located at 2615 Fitzgerald Drive in Raleigh, on Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The meeting aims to provide a platform for residents to express their views and learn about transportation projects affecting their area. City officials hope to address any misunderstandings regarding the project's impact and gather feedback on other neighborhood needs.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with city staff from various departments including Vision Zero, Transit, Mobility Strategy & Infrastructure, Raleigh Parking, and Housing & Neighborhoods. The event will feature both a presentation and an open house format where attendees can discuss specific topics in smaller groups.
"This is your chance to share your thoughts," stated the announcement from the city. It emphasized that "City of Raleigh transportation and various other department experts will be available" for discussions about ongoing and future projects.
Attendees can also enjoy light refreshments during the event. The city encourages community participation by stating: "More voices, more ideas, more change!"
