Spring Fling Dance offers inclusive event for youth and adults with disabilities

Spring has arrived, and with it comes the opportunity for youth and adults with disabilities to enjoy a dance event. The Spring Fling Dance is set to take place at the Laurel Hills Community Center on Friday, April 11, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The event welcomes participants aged 15 and up. Volunteer chaperones will be present, along with a DJ providing music and refreshments available for attendees. Those requiring additional support or supervision are encouraged to attend with a chaperone or personal assistant.

While pre-registration is recommended, walk-up registration will also be accepted for a fee of $5 in cash. For further details about the event, individuals can call (919) 996-2147 or email SRIS@raleighnc.gov.
