The City has introduced Eproval, an online platform designed to streamline the process of obtaining special event permits. These permits are necessary for events that utilize public spaces, such as festivals, performances, road races, parades, and charity walks.

Eproval enables event organizers to apply for permits and track their applications online with real-time status updates. The platform also promotes collaboration and information sharing among users. Sarah Heinsohn from the Special Events Office stated, “Good communication is a key ingredient for having a safe and fun event. With Eproval, information is easily accessible. The process will be much more efficient.”

The City's initiative reflects its commitment to leveraging technology like Eproval to enhance service delivery. Additional details can be found by visiting RaleighNC.gov and searching for "special event requests."
