Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
The Town Council, along with the Morrisville Public Education Advisory Committee, proclaimed March 2, 2022 as Read Across America Day in the Town of Morrisville.
Join the Morrisville Community Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss, Read Across America, and make Thing 1 and Thing 2 pencils to share with a friend.
Events will be on Tuesday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 2 at 6 p.m. Space is limited. Call the library at 919-463-8460 or visit https://www.wakegov.com/events to register.
