CITY OF RALEIGH: Seeking Feedback on a New Pilot Program

Feedbackword

City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on June 8.

Raleigh has set aside money in the proposed FY 23 Budget to fund public projects that will help offset the disruption caused by public project construction. The intent is to preserve neighborhood stability and enable businesses to help with neighborhood preservation. There are guidelines for qualification which include proximity to the public investment with a focus on underserved communities. Some of the projects the funds can support include:

  • Small business support
  • Neighborhood stabilization
  • Support for community organizations
  • Public art
  • Pedestrian safety
Three public meetings will be held to obtain feedback on funding recommendations for a pilot program. You are invited to attend.
