County of Wake issued the following announcement on Jan. 30.
Join local experts for a FREE gardening class on Saturday, Feb. 4, to learn all the basics you'll need to get started on your 2023 garden!
The North Carolina Extension Master Gardener volunteers will lead the class for both beginning gardeners and seasoned pros. Topics covered include:
Selecting a garden site,
preparing your site,
choosing which vegetables based on the season,
how and when to plant,
plant rotation,
dealing with pests and disease,
harvesting and much more!
