There are over 200 parks in Raleigh that the City strives to keep clean and safe for your enjoyment. To maintain our safe, vibrant, and healthy community, the City has decided to close the Jaycee Park disposal site to mitigate the frequent and unpredictable illegal dumping at this location. The existing disposal site will be rededicated to Jaycee Park.

Curbside trash, recyclables, and yard waste collection are available to all Solid Waste Services customers.  In addition, our community offers several convenient options to dispose of unwanted and reusable materials.

Raleigh Bulky Load Collection Service - larger items that can go in the landfill but do not fit in the garbage cart.

Raleigh Special Load –  for larger items and loads like appliances and furniture that may not be eligible for free Bulky Load pickup.

Wake County Convenience Centers - 11 locations that accept a variety of unwanted items

For questions, residents can contact Customer Care at 919-996-3245 or email Solid Waste Services. Thank you for helping us keep our parks clean!
