Is your organization:
a nonprofit?
headquartered in Raleigh?
with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status?
a creator of a quality arts program that is relevant to and supported by the Raleigh community?
If you answered yes to all of the above questions, then you may be eligible to apply for an Arts Grant through the City of Raleigh.
The City of Raleigh Arts Commission's Grant Program is the official vehicle for municipal support to the City's arts organizations. A major example of the City Council's dedication to the cultural development of Raleigh, the program is currently supported by a $5 per capita allocation, which resulted in grant awards totaling $2,001,766 for 2023-2024.
To learn more about the Arts Grant program and the 2024-2025 application process, attend one of the New Applicant Grant Workshops this November. The workshop introduces prospective applicants to the grant program and provides in-depth information about eligibility requirements, the application process, and what happens once a grant has been awarded.
Raleigh nonprofits who are currently not receiving Arts Grant funding but plan to apply for 2024-2025 funding are required to attend one of these two sessions (either in-person or virtual).
Session #1 (Virtual):
Date: Wednesday, November 8, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: This workshop will be held virtually on Zoom, a free video-conferencing software.
Cost: Free
Session #2 (In-Person):
Date: Saturday, November 11, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Walnut Creek Wetland Park, 950 Peterson Street, Raleigh, NC 27610
