The City of Raleigh is calling on residents to apply for vacant positions on the Historic Cemeteries Advisory Board. As advisors to the City Council and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department, board members play a crucial role in cemetery restoration and revitalization, and funding and donorship. They also play an important role in matters related to heritage tourism of the City’s three historic cemeteries: City Cemetery, Mount Hope Cemetery, and O’Rorke-Catholic Cemetery.
If you’re interested in contributing to this important cause, apply online.
