The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) has recently announced the launch of a Halal version of their popular Eat Smart Move More Course. This new offering aims to cater to the needs of individuals who follow Halal dietary guidelines.

According to EFNEP, the Halal version of the course will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about food, nutrition, and fitness through interactive activities and peer support. The program will feature Halal-friendly food and recipes, ensuring that participants can adhere to their dietary preferences while still gaining valuable knowledge about healthy eating and physical activity.

"We recognized the need to provide a Halal option for individuals who follow this dietary practice," said Sarah Thompson, the director of EFNEP. "By offering a Halal version of our course, we are ensuring that everyone can access and benefit from our program, regardless of their dietary restrictions."

Participants of the Halal Eat Smart Move More Course can expect to engage in a variety of activities that promote healthy habits and improve overall well-being. These activities will be facilitated by qualified instructors who have expertise in nutrition and fitness.

In addition to the interactive sessions, participants will also receive complimentary produce and kitchen tools to encourage them to continue practicing what they have learned in the course. EFNEP aims to empower individuals to make positive changes in their lifestyle by providing them with the necessary resources and support.

The Halal Eat Smart Move More Course will be held on Tuesdays, from January 30th to March 5th, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The program is open to individuals aged 16 and above and is completely free of cost. Interested individuals can register for the course on RecLink, an online platform for recreational activities.

This initiative by EFNEP to introduce a Halal version of their Eat Smart Move More Course highlights their commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that their programs are accessible to a wide range of individuals. By accommodating different dietary practices, EFNEP aims to promote healthy lifestyles and empower individuals to make informed choices about their nutrition and fitness.

As Thompson emphasized, "We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about and adopt healthy habits. By offering a Halal version of our course, we are taking a step towards creating a more inclusive environment for all individuals."

The Halal Eat Smart Move More Course is expected to be a valuable resource for individuals who follow Halal dietary guidelines and are looking to enhance their knowledge of nutrition and fitness. By actively engaging in this program, participants will not only gain valuable information but also develop practical skills that will enable them to lead healthier lives.

For those interested in participating in the Halal Eat Smart Move More Course, now is the time to register on RecLink and take the first step towards a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
