Lunar New Year Celebration to be Held at Lake Lynn Community Center

The Cultural Outreach and Enrichment (COE) Program, in collaboration with Wah Lum Kung Fu of Raleigh and Lake Lynn Community Center, is pleased to announce the upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration. This highly-anticipated event, which will take place on Sunday, February 4th from 2 to 4 p.m., promises to be an exciting and culturally enriching experience for all attendees.

The Lunar New Year Celebration will feature a variety of activities and performances that showcase the rich traditions and customs associated with this festive occasion. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy games, crafts, and most notably, the famous Lion Dance. This traditional Chinese dance, performed by members of Wah Lum Kung Fu of Raleigh, is believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this year's Lunar New Year Celebration," said Master Shifu Nancy Cantor, the head instructor at Wah Lum Kung Fu of Raleigh. "It is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the start of the Lunar New Year in a fun and engaging way."

In addition to the Lion Dance, there will be performances and demonstrations by Wah Lum Kung Fu of Raleigh and their special partners. These demonstrations will provide attendees with a unique insight into the ancient martial art of Kung Fu and its significance in Chinese culture.

"We are excited to share our passion for Kung Fu with the community," said Master Shifu Nancy Cantor. "Through our performances and demonstrations, we hope to inspire a greater appreciation for Chinese martial arts and their role in promoting discipline, respect, and self-confidence."

The Lunar New Year Celebration is open to people of all ages and is free of charge. It will be held at the Lake Lynn Community Center, located at [insert address].
