The Historic Raleigh Trolley is set to showcase the city's rich sports history on a special tour. The tour will explore Raleigh's past, present, and future of sports, covering a range of sports from horse racing to hockey. The tour will visit locations that are still active in the sports scene, as well as those that hold a place in the city's sporting past.
The Mordecai Historic Park Visitor Center is organizing the tour, and interested individuals can contact them at 919-996-4364 for more information. The tour is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, with three different times available - 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. It is open to all ages, with tickets priced at $12.
Participants on the tour can expect to immerse themselves in Raleigh's sports heritage, as they are taken on a journey through time, learning about the various sports that have shaped the city's sporting landscape.
