The 2024 NC One Water Conference is scheduled to occur in Raleigh from November 3 to 6, bringing together 1,600 water professionals from across North Carolina. This gathering aims to address significant challenges faced by the water industry, including aging infrastructure, workforce changes, and the need for innovative water technologies.
Participants at the conference will have opportunities to discuss both the current state and future prospects of the water industry. Key elements of the event include sharing knowledge and best practices, providing support during times of change, and promoting modernization and innovation.
In addition to these discussions, the NC Water for People Committee plans to host a silent auction aimed at raising funds for their projects. Attendees can also engage in team-building competitions such as Hydrant Hysteria, Pipe Tapping, and Best Tasting Water. These activities are designed to enhance skills through collaboration among water teams statewide. Raleigh Water has expressed pride in participating in both the conference and its associated team-building events.
