Abbotts Creek is introducing two new fitness classes, Barre and WARRIOR Rhythm ROOTS™, available for free trial sessions on Wednesday mornings throughout December. These classes aim to provide participants with an opportunity to explore different fitness routines without cost during the trial period. Registration is required for each class.
The Barre class focuses on low to no impact exercises that emphasize functional movements, full range of motion, and alignment. Participants can expect to improve body awareness in movement, balance, muscular endurance, and core strength. The use of lighter dumbbells, resistance bands, and Pilates balls may be incorporated into the sessions. The Barre classes are scheduled for December 4th, 11th, and 18th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., open to individuals aged 18 and above.
WARRIOR Rhythm ROOTS™ combines yoga-inspired sequences with resistance training and cardio exercises. This class is designed to enhance balance, flexibility, and strength using the support of a chair. It offers rhythmic yoga flows along with mindful movements tailored for active agers and adaptive athletes. The WARRIOR Rhythm ROOTS™ classes will also take place on December 4th, 11th, and 18th from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., catering to those aged 18 and up.
Both classes require registration through RecLink.
