Raleigh, Apr 1 2024 - Levi, a passionate Raleigh third grader, is setting an example for sustainability as he prepares for Earth Day. Partnering with the City of Raleigh, Levi is advocating for small actions that can enhance sustainability not only during Earth Day but throughout the year.

"We have the power to make changes now that impact generations to come," Levi emphasizes. "I may be a kid, but I know my actions matter. And so do yours."

Levi and his family are taking simple yet impactful actions to reduce their carbon footprint. They walk or use public transportation for short distances and carry reusable bags wherever they go. Additionally, they have embraced composting, with Levi's mother, Erin, noting, "We've reduced our trash quite a bit this way and create compost to use in the yard."
