The City of Raleigh Police Department, Department of Equity and Inclusion, and the Substance Use Advisory Commission are uniting to combat the drug overdose epidemic through active participation in the DEA's National Prescription Take Back Day on April 27. This initiative aims to promote community safety and health by facilitating the responsible disposal of unnecessary medications.

The event is scheduled to occur on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at designated locations, including Falls River Pharmacy at 10930 Raven Ridge Rd in North Raleigh and Wegmans at 1200 Wake Towne Dr in North Raleigh.
