Raleigh Parks is inviting the public to participate in the upcoming public meeting for the Green Road Park Site Improvements project scheduled for Thursday, April 25. The meeting will take place at the Green Road Park Community Center, located at 4201 Green Road, from 6 to 7 p.m.
During the meeting, Raleigh Parks and the design team will unveil the schematic design for site improvements, which will encompass a variety of enhancements aimed at improving the park's accessibility and overall visitor experience. This includes the addition of new walkways, restrooms, playgrounds, recreational facilities, public art installations, and the renovation of existing site features.
According to the announcement, this gathering will serve as a sneak peek of the project plans that are set to be formally presented at the Parks, Recreation, and Greenway Advisory Board meeting on May 16, 2024. The Raleigh Parks team is eager to engage with the public throughout the duration of this 2022 Raleigh Parks Bond project.
To ensure inclusivity, a Spanish interpreter will be available at the meeting to assist attendees. The event is open to all ages and comes at no cost to participants.
