The recent recognition ceremony for the Raleigh Digital Ambassadors saw an emotional gathering as ten high school students were honored for their contributions over the past nine months. These students refurbished 116 laptop computers for the community, logging a total of 194 service hours and 165 leadership development hours.

Digital Inclusion Program Manager Yanira Campos, along with several other speakers, highlighted the significant impact these teens have had on local residents. The Digital Ambassadors initiated the "Advice About Your Device" program and assisted in distributing computers to low-income families.

Parents at the event commended Campos's leadership, noting her role in motivating and guiding the students to address challenging issues. The students expressed that participating in this program allowed them to connect with their community meaningfully and they are eager to build on this experience in the future.
