Are you hosting a celebration or graduation party in a Raleigh park? Here are some ways you can protect our waterways and parks:

Never dump grease or food waste down the storm drain. Pour grease into a container and dispose of it in the garbage.

Throw away or recycle trash and litter. Plastics and other trash can pollute our waterways. Use renewable products when possible to limit trash and single-use items. Learn more about what you can and can't recycle.

Clean gasoline, motor oil, and other vehicle fluid leaks immediately. Call Raleigh Stormwater at 919-996-3940 for assistance on cleaning a spill.

Remember, only rain down the storm drain! It’s illegal to dump pollutants in parks and storm drains. Learn more about how to spot, report, and stop water pollution.
