The Office of Community Engagement (OCE) is launching a summer engagement campaign. Staff will host 14 pop-up events from June through August, utilizing the community engagement van. Several local organizations, including Refund Raleigh, El Pueblo, and Refugee Hope Partners, will participate.

Members of the community engagement board will join some of the events. The campaign aims to deliver information and resources directly to underserved communities, thereby reducing barriers to public participation. Additionally, it seeks to promote face-to-face interactions with residents to foster relationships and increase trust.

Services offered at these pop-up events include education on city resources, information on local organizations, voter education and registration, surveys, citizen service requests, registering for City of Raleigh classes, and more.

The dates and locations for the events are as follows:

- **June 6:** Peach Road Park Reopening Celebration at Peach Road Park

- **June 8:** World Refugee Day at Moore Square

- **June 12:** Juneteenth: A Chavis Celebration at John Chavis Memorial Park

- **June 13:** Meet Us at the Square at Moore Square

"Meet Us at The Square," hosted by Raleigh's Housing and Neighborhoods Department on June 13th at Moore Square, aims to support individuals facing homelessness or at-risk situations by uniting non-profit organizations, service providers, volunteers, and community members. Services provided include free health screenings, barber/salon services, showers, employment assistance, legal aid, food & clothing distribution, veterinary care among others.

Further dates include:

- **July 4:** Fourth of July Fireworks

- **July 6:** Community Engagement Pop-Up at Ashton Square Shopping Center

- **July 14:** Community Engagement Pop-Up at Black Farmer's Market

- **July 17:** Meet Us at the Square in partnership with Healing Transitions
