The Raleigh Police Department will participate in National Faith and Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) from October 11 to 14. The event aims to foster safer, more inclusive communities by connecting law enforcement officers with the residents they serve.

The weekend's activities will include picnics, athletic events, forums, and community service projects. These events are designed to facilitate interaction between law enforcement officers and the public, promoting mutual understanding. Organizers expect activities in every state this year, involving thousands of participants.

National Faith and Blue Weekend marks the culmination of National Community Policing Week. This initiative includes major national law enforcement groups in the United States as well as federal agencies directly engaged with local law enforcement.
