The Carolina Hurricanes continued their end-of-season media sessions on Sunday, with nine players addressing reporters. The interviews provided insights into the players' reflections on the past season and their outlook for the future.

Sebastian Aho, known for his competitive nature, expressed his disappointment over the season's end. "It definitely, in my opinion, was the best chance we've had here," he said. Aho felt that this team had a real opportunity to succeed.

Dmitry Orlov received praise from teammate Jalen Chatfield for his performance as part of one of the NHL's top third pairings. Chatfield described Orlov as a "Russian beast" who plays hard every night.

Jack Drury reflected on his first full-time NHL season at age 24 and aims to improve his goal-scoring abilities. He said, "I think I need to do a little better with goal-scoring and contribute a little more in that way."

Jesper Fast appeared before reporters wearing a neck brace due to an injury sustained in April, which kept him out of postseason play. "[It was] worst-case scenario," Fast remarked about missing crucial games.

Seth Jarvis revealed he played much of the season with significant injuries but still managed to achieve a personal milestone by scoring 30 goals. Despite these challenges, Jarvis remained committed: "I'll do whatever I need to get out there."

Jesperi Kotkaniemi candidly assessed his performance as subpar, stating it was "pretty sh*tty" overall and expressing determination to improve next year.

Jordan Martinook acknowledged the team's regular-season success but emphasized the need to overcome playoff hurdles. As a pending free agent, he expressed interest in staying with the team but is aware of potential opportunities elsewhere.

Stefan Noesen anticipates entering free agency this summer and views it as an intriguing process. He noted, "Truthfully, I just think the [free agency] process is cool."

Andrei Svechnikov looks forward to resuming normal training after recovering from an ACL injury last offseason. Reflecting on his return to play, he shared that he learned and grew throughout the year.

Hurricanes President & General Manager Don Waddell and Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour are scheduled for their media availability Monday morning at PNC Arena.
