The Carolina Hurricanes are set to welcome Seth Jarvis back into their lineup for Monday's game against the Dallas Stars at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jarvis had been sidelined for seven games due to an upper-body injury sustained during a match in Colorado on November 9. Before his injury, the 22-year-old player had recorded 11 points in 13 games this season.

During the morning skate, Jarvis practiced alongside Jack Drury and Martin Necas, although head coach Rod Brind'Amour noted that these may not be his line mates for the evening game. However, Jarvis is expected to return to his role on the team's first power play unit.

In goal, Spencer Martin is anticipated to start as Pyotr Kochetkov remains out after suffering a concussion in Saturday's overtime game against Columbus. Brind'Amour mentioned there is no timeline for Kochetkov's return. This will mark Martin's fourth NHL start of the season; he currently holds a record of 1-2-1. Yaniv Perets will serve as backup goaltender.

The Hurricanes' projected lineup includes forwards Andrei Svechnikov, Sebastian Aho, and Jack Roslovic on the top line. The defense pairs feature Jaccob Slavin with Brent Burns and Dmitry Orlov with Jalen Chatfield.

Currently dealing with injuries are Frederik Andersen (knee), Jesper Fast (neck), and Pyotr Kochetkov (concussion). Tyson Jost has been reassigned to Chicago (AHL) earlier today.

Tonight's matchup will have betting odds from Fanatics Sportsbook listing the Hurricanes at -130.
