The Carolina Hurricanes are set to face the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, November 17, at PNC Arena in Raleigh. The puck is scheduled to drop at 5:00 p.m. ET, and fans can catch the game on FanDuel Sports Network South or listen via 99.9 The Fan.

Currently holding a record of 12-4-0, the Hurricanes sit second in the Metropolitan Division after their recent 4-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators. In that match, goaltender Spencer Martin achieved his first NHL shutout by stopping all 25 shots from Ottawa.

Jordan Martinook opened the scoring against Ottawa and has now netted six goals in his last six games. Meanwhile, teammate Martin Necas extended his point streak to 12 games with an assist during Saturday's game.

Spencer Martin expressed confidence about playing consecutive games earlier this week; however, head coach Rod Brind'Amour indicated that Pyotr Kochetkov might be available for Sunday's matchup after missing Friday's game due to injury.

The visiting St. Louis Blues come off an overtime win against Boston which ended their four-game losing streak. With a current record of 8-9-1, they have struggled offensively this season but hope for better performance as they take on Carolina.

Blues forward Jordan Kyrou leads his team with 15 points so far this season while defenseman Colton Parayko has contributed significantly over recent games.

Injury updates for Carolina include goaltender Frederik Andersen being sidelined longer than initially expected due to a lower-body injury sustained in October. Seth Jarvis remains on injured reserve but could return soon according to Coach Brind'Amour’s latest comments.

After Sunday's game against St.Louis concludes, the Hurricanes will rest Monday before heading out Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s encounter with Philadelphia Flyers scheduled at Wells Fargo Center followed by another home clash against Dallas Stars next week at PNC Arena.
