With the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship approaching, Hockey Canada has announced its roster for the event. Among those selected is Carolina Hurricanes prospect Bradly Nadeau, who will be part of the final 25-man team.
Nadeau joins fellow Hurricanes prospects Felix Unger Sorum and Oskar Vuollet at this year's tournament. The 19-year-old earned his place on the team after scoring 12 points in 20 games during his first full professional season with the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League. Nadeau was chosen by the Hurricanes as the 30th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Hailing from St. Francois de Madawaska, New Brunswick, Nadeau was initially named to Canada's 32-player selection camp earlier this month. He secured a spot on the final roster that will compete for gold from December 26, 2024, to January 5, 2025, in Ottawa, Ontario.
Team Canada will play its preliminary round games in Group A alongside Finland, Germany, Latvia, and USA. Group B consists of Sweden, Czechia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Kazakhstan.
