Join a new outdoor program designed to encourage fitness enthusiasts to stay active during the winter months. The Greenway After Dark series invites participants to walk or run on a designated 3-mile course, available at various locations on Thursday evenings from 5 to 8 p.m.

The initiative aims to provide an opportunity for individuals aged 18 and over to enjoy the greenway while pursuing their fitness goals in the colder season. "Don't let the darkness keep you inside," encourages the program organizers. Participants can choose from four rotating locations: Glen Eden Pilot Park, Walnut Creek Wetland Park, Kiwanis Community Center, and River Bend Park.

Pets are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and kept on a short leash. Registration for this free program is available through RecLink.
