The Neighborhood Enrichment team, previously part of Housing and Neighborhoods, has merged with the Community Engagement team. This change marks a new phase in how the City of Raleigh supports its neighborhoods and community.

The merger combines two teams with common goals: fostering connections, empowering residents, and enhancing life quality in Raleigh's communities. The unified group aims to create programs, host events, and provide resources that impact residents positively.

"Bringing these groups together unlocks a new level of engagement for the City of Raleigh. Engagement requires relationships, and building relationships takes time," stated Tiesha Mosely, Director of Community Engagement.

"This merger provides the unique opportunity to connect residents, programs, and community input in a very meaningful way. I am honored to lead such a passionate and experienced team of engagement professionals."

This initiative reflects the City's commitment to innovation and collaboration. It aims to build a stronger Raleigh for everyone.

Updates will follow as the city moves forward with this development.
