Free tours offered at Mordecai Historic Park on January 24

Mordecai Historic Park will host a special event offering free tours throughout the day on Friday, January 24. Visitors can explore notable sites such as the Mordecai House, Andrew Johnson’s Birthplace, and St. Mark’s Chapel.

The tours will commence at 10 a.m., with the last tour starting at 3 p.m. They are scheduled every 30 minutes and begin at the Visitor Center. Each tour is limited to 20 participants, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is important to note that online registration does not guarantee a spot on the tour. Interested individuals should visit the Visitor Center at Mordecai Historic Park located at 1101 Wake Forest Rd to secure their place. Additional information can be obtained by calling (919) 996-4364.

This event is open to all ages and there is no cost for participation.
