The winners of the Raleigh Stormwater sticker contest have been announced. In November, the Stormwater Maintenance Team invited residents to submit designs for stormwater stickers with themes such as "Water Connects Us," "Water is Life," and "Clean Pipes, Clean Rivers." The team received 29 submissions from students ranging from 2nd grade to 12th grade.

Three winners were selected along with one honorable mention. The winning designs will be featured at Raleigh Stormwater's outreach events in 2025.

The first place was awarded to Charlotte Claiborne, a 5th grader. Sofia Garcia Vazquez, an 8th grader, took second place. Bailey McKenzie, a 4th grader, won third place. An honorable mention was given to Kevin McMahon and Alpha Stylo from the Raleigh Convention Center Maintenance Department.

Residents can view the new stickers at Raleigh Stormwater’s tabling events starting early in 2025.
