Mountain bike basics course offered at Forest Ridge Park

Certified instructors are set to lead a mountain biking course aimed at equipping participants with essential skills. The program will cover riding techniques, body positioning, braking, and shifting. Additionally, it will address trail etiquette and provide information on local mountain biking resources.

The course concludes with a group ride where participants can apply their newly acquired skills. Bikes and helmets will be available for use during the sessions.

The event is scheduled to take place at Forest Ridge Park on Saturdays, March 8 and April 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. It is open to individuals aged 14 and above. The cost for residents is $26, while non-residents will pay $41. Interested parties can register through RecLink.
