The Nature Quest Passport Program is set to engage Raleigh residents with the city's green spaces this spring. The initiative encourages participants to explore local parks and preserves, aiming to foster a connection with the natural environment and its inhabitants.

Participants are invited to visit various locations included in the passport guide, earning points through different activities at each site. These activities can be completed individually, in groups, or through organized programs and volunteer days. Upon completing an activity, participants should see a staff member to have their points recorded on their passport.

After accumulating five points at a site, participants receive a special stamp unique to that location. Collecting five points at all participating sites qualifies individuals for a prize at their final stop.

The program runs from March 18 to May 18 and is open to all ages without any cost. Participating locations include Annie Louise Wilkerson Nature Preserve, Durant Nature Preserve, Walnut Creek Wetland Park, and Horseshoe Farm Nature Preserve.
