On Wednesday, March 19, former Leesville Road High School standout Alex Daniels’ current collegiate team the American Eagles lost 83-72 against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UD Arena, this was the first game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers during the championship.

Alex Daniels’ hometown is Duluth and game position is guard.
