The North Carolina Mining Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting at 1 p.m. on April 8, 2025, in Raleigh. The session is open to the public, both in person and online.
According to the announcement, "An agenda and supporting documents for the meeting will be posted on the Commission website prior to the meeting."
The meeting will be held in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building located at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh 27604. One of the commission’s responsibilities includes setting rules for the use of mining resources in the state. The commission additionally serves as an advisory body to the Governor and creates rules for granting federal aid.
