The Tarboro Road Community Center is preparing to host a Pop-up Roller Skating session this month. This event is set for Sunday, April 27, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy an afternoon of skating accompanied by live DJ music featuring "the best old-school R&B, hip-hop, and funky beats" to complement the skating rhythm.
This session is open to individuals aged 18 and over, and attendees are reminded to bring their own skates. Registration can be completed at the Center's front desk, offering an opportunity for skaters of varying expertise to join—be they beginners, intermediate, or advanced. The goal of the event is "building a safe, inclusive roller skating community where everyone can have fun and help foster a vibrant, healthy roller skating culture here in the Triangle," furthering social and recreational engagement among participants.
Held at Tarboro Road Park, this event is offered at no cost, and registration is not required.
