Lake Wheeler Park in North Carolina is set to host the 2025 Lake Wheeler Invitational from April 23 to April 26. The intercollegiate rowing event is co-sponsored by the women's rowing programs of UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. Various collegiate teams will compete in this event, including representatives from Boston College, Boston University, and Bucknell, among others.
For the duration of the event, the lake will be closed to public access beginning Wednesday, April 23, with public boating access resuming on Sunday, April 27. During the event, only spectators of the rowing regatta will be allowed access to the park and parking fees will apply.
