Small Business Summit and Resource Fair

The Wake Forest Area Chamber is partnering with the Town of Wake Forest and Wake Tech to host a Small Business Summit and Resource Fair. Created to help business owners start the year with a clear vision, the event combines engaging marketing presentations with networking, idea sharing, and a resource fair. Attendees will learn how to take their marketing to a new level using storytelling techniques and social media best practices. The two keynote speakers are Sloane Heffernan, an Emmy Award winning journalist and reporter for WRAL-TV, and Chisa Pennix-Brown, an experienced business coach and social media expert. More than 20 businesses and agencies will exhibit at the Resource Fair between and after the speakers’ presentations. Legal, financial, and technology services along with organizations like the Small Business Administration and the Women’s Business Center will be available to provide information to attendees. Registration is requested prior to the Summit. Tickets are $20 for Wake Forest Area Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Online registration is available at wakeforestchamber.org.
